Here is the truth. It’s not thee truth but nevertheless it
is a truth. During my time at the unconference it was clear to me that I was in
way over my head. I can count the times on my left hand that I actually
understood what was being talked about when the sessions grouped back together.
I only attended the morning one so maybe the afternoon session was different.
For me it was not about the vendors or the lack of a lack of
an agenda. I was totally blind to it all. This is not to say I did not see what
was going on around me. I saw a lot and what I saw were people not feeling bad
at all about the decision they made to take a few days off and show support for
a very needed networking opportunity.
We all know that nothing on a massive scale is going to happen
as a result of all of the needed change that got discussed. Other stuff will
happen. Lots of other stuff will happen. It always does. Seeing people in the
flesh I don't get to see very often but who I respect motivates me to do things. It
has the same effect on other people as well. This is what the Unconference, and
all opportunities that allow the personal exchange of stories and ideas with
like-minded individuals is all about for me.
In my opinion, Jeff did an unreal job. I can see the look of
huge satisfaction on his face while he looked up at all of the people who changed
things around in order to be able to attend. It is a really good feeling to
know that something you do may be the beginning of something much larger.
Three Cheers for you my friend and everyone else who attended. There was not one thing wrong with it.
Some time ago, I needed to buy a good house for my business but I didn't earn enough cash and couldn't buy anything. Thank heaven my mate proposed to try to get the mortgage loans from trustworthy creditors. Therefore, I did so and was happy with my consolidation loan.
